Ultimate shoulder rides

I certainly don't mind Liz, I believe I have mentioned this "method" in this group already. I don't consider it to be very ingenious but I have to say it worked out a lot of times for me. In the last year every girl I asked to help me did, not one refused. I have to add though that I check them out a bit before: the way they look and behave. If they are not in male company it makes more sense of course, otherwise they would hop on their own boyfriends. If you see that the girl is rather short and can hardly see over the crowd but seems to try to do exactly that by e.g. standing on her toes or bouncing up and down or you see she looks frustrated because of not seeing then this is a real good chance. Sometimes you also hear them say to their (female) friends they can't see well. In all these cases if she looks nice and friendly I will offer my help if she returns me the favour with taking some over-the-crowd shots.
As I just mentioned in the last year alone no one of those I asked at outdoor events (parades, concerts etc.) refused the chance to get on shoulders. Some did it for helping me by saying "What do I have to do?", some others were very obviously excited by the idea.
I have no doubt there are several members in this group who have done it like me or in a similar way.
Still I would prefer to be asked by a girl than having to use an "excuse" for giving her a ride. However a ride is better than none. And sometimes you get more than just one girl up. Just don't be shy and keep on asking even if you get some refuses. Stay natural and friendly, that is important.
