Hi fellow shoulder riding fans!
I am seriously thinking about leaving this group for personal reasons.
I sure had a wonderful time being part of this community and hope I could contribute to its success a little bit in the past. I'll be around for about one more week but before I drop out I would really like to say thank you to everyone in this group who helps keeping this group the number one in this topic on the net by sharing experiences, stories, pictures, videos or contributing with interesting votes or discussions.
To mention but a few: our outstanding record poster Gossbo who always impresses me by adding new stuff of remarkable quality; other good friends like xxx123yyy, Vaggelli, Travers and Liz the Riding Blonde, these are great people, I could talk with them many times which means a lot to me! Last but not least I have to mention Scotty, the father and original founder of the ultimateshoulderriding groups and community. He was one of my first contacts many years ago. As we all I owe him incredibly much for his so important work he did with creating this internet forum and with sharing experiences and many unique images over the years! Thank you Scotty - you are the best!!! And of course the man I need to give credit for running this group so perfectly well: our chief administrator Nick who constantly impresses me with his technical know-how, his commitment, his helpfullness and hard work for this group. You are a fantastic leader, Nick, keep up this good work as long as you can.
It was a pleasure and honour to be part of this unique community with members from 15 to 65 of age from all over the world because the best thing here was to meet people with the same interest. Thank you so much!
Best regards to you all,
Louie

Hi Louie,
I am somewhat stunned by your sudden announcement, but I am sure that you are doing what you think is best on a personal level and what can I say except all the best for the future. I appreciate very much your personal note of thanks as well - I really feel bad about not being able to contribute more myself as well, especially since this new web site started. To be honest, I also have had thoughts about calling it a day from here, mainly due to my frustrations about slow uploading to the archives, but after I sat back and thought about it, I decided there is far too many great people in here to simply let it all slip away. Whilst I am not 100% happy with the format here, especially the very low resolution quality of some of the pictures appearing, under the circumstances this was still the best direction to take after the closure of the smartgroup. Thanks very much to Nick, the sites main administrator, for keeping things going here. You have done a great job, mate!! I do enjoy all the links to the many clips posted to Youtube, MySpace etc, and although stories & observations have been a bit slow coming lately, this group is still great with many fine contributors.
I do wish that you would change your mind, if not, you do know that hopefully we will always be here should you decide to return one day. The door is always open. By the way, your Loveparade picture postings from 2006 remain my personal favourite shoulder ride pictures of all time. they were just magnificent. Thanks to your efforts mainly. I will never forget you sending me all those high resolution copies of the pictures either - I thank you again so much with all sincerity.
All the best anyway - I feel as if I have lost a personal friend even though we have never met!!
Take care mate
Regards
Scotty

Hi Louie,
As we have already communicated privately by email about this I can just conclude to everyone that what Scotty wrote represents the whole team of this community.
Louie's contribution to this community has been great and his private collection of Love Parade (and other festivals) files is just incredible. So, we will miss you Louie, we fully respect your decision and wish you the best in life. You are welcome back here any time.

Ciao Louie
The flow of life must go, and news comes for all us. Lately myself have few times to partecipate to this group, because I'm busy and of my difficulties with english language. But I continue to partecipate to this group, and Scotty, Ladycarrier, Nick, Travers, Blackjack, the never unforgettable Jill, the diseappeared Eli, and many ... will be always my friends: there are many years of my life. We perhaps have lost a great friend, You, but, I think, not a shoulderriding lover as you always will be. Or not. Can be, You can return, who can say? The flow of life.
Best regards
