What a great collection!!!
I guess it's less convenient to see the pictures when they are not in the gallery, but this way we have the direct link so we have the possibility to read the comments about the photos (sometimes from the rider itself), to see other pictures of the same rider and to read more about her, which sometimes can be very interesting.

You are absolutely right. To read the original comments for each pic is of course appreciated, and I understand it would be quite time consuming to add those comments to each pic uploaded to the gallery.

Both. Links to other sites in the forum (if you find a good reason for it) or upload to the gallery.
