Our old classmates had a reunion outing in a lake, which is a wild lake, and we all went without spouses, and after the lunch we all had a little beer, one of the classmate I had crush on when I was in school was also there, and he is still in good shape, a browny guy, middle high, he was a little excited after a couple of beers, and we were fooling around a little, and he wanted a little chat with me, I guess he also knows I liked him, so I did. And while we were chatting he asked me if I was into him back then, I jokingly said yes, and I told him that now it’s too late because he is not handsome and strong as back then, he pretends offended and said that he works out and he is very capable, so I told him if he could lift me on shoulders and carry me around to prove, he gladly said yes, and he removed his shirt and put it on his belt, and bent over and put his head between my legs and lifted me up, and we were all very happy, he said he just proved he is still as good as before, and I told him that was just beginning, he will have to carry me for much longer time, and he asked me how long is that, I said all day and all life and I laughed and felt very anxious all of sudden as I am afraid he might think I am crazy, but to my surprise he answered happily that’s what he can do exactly but maybe not practical as we all need to work and have a normal life, I told him to put his head more forward to give me more comfortable seat and he did, we chatted like that for another 10 minutes like that until we return to the lake side, we started to have conversations with others like nothing happened. I wonder if I can ask him to lift me again sometimes and do longer ride, but I know he is a normal guy with no shoulder riding perculatity , but what do you guys think, shall I ask him?

If you told him that he should carry you all day and all life and he accepted, I think you can ask him to carry you other times.

He has shown you clear signs that he likes to carry you on his shoulders.
Of course you should ask him and be sure that he will carry you any time that you ask him.

Well I asked him again but seems he is reluctant to do it again, I guess shoulder ride is not for everyone!

Then your friend did not wanted to carry you on shoulders again? What a bad luck, Hong. Maybe he thought that you was kidding him when you told him that you wanted he carries you "all the life". It's a big dissapoint when someone tells you that he/she is willing to do this or that to please you, and then this person don't do it. I know the feeling. I feel dissapointed with one female rider who told me she was willing to ride on my shoulders and then, just vanished (if she is reading this, she knows who she is). Shoulder riding is not for all, average people always think we, riders or carriers, are like some kind of freaks.

Do not worry Hong, I do not think you are a freak. I would give you shoulder rides all the day if you wanted, but you live too far.

Shoulder rides are not for everyone.

I think shoulder rides is not ready as a common behavior in China yet, and people are quiet conservative!

I have seen images of chinese guys carrying chinese ladies in sedan chairs. I thought then, that chinese guys love and respect chinese ladies, and that was the reason they take care of their females and carry them. Yes, it is not shoulder ride, but it is another way to carry ladies. But maybe this is not like I thought.
If you and your friend are good friends, he should carry you. Maybe he does think you were kidding him when asked him to carry you.
You need to make new friends, Hong. New friends who like shoulder rides, a new friend who want to carry you.
