Hi there, I am looking for some ideas to get my female cousin to put me on her shoulders without any awkwardness. Any idea how? Thanks!

The More you think, The More awkward it will get.

Just go and ask directly - That Can I carry you on my shoulders ?

- If she knows you - Chances are High. As she has confidence on you. - Somehow you have to convince her repeatedly, which can take time - 1 day / 1 week / 1 month.

- If she is your cousin - Chances are Very High - As she knows there is no harm, and you will not take advantage of her - Still you can convince her if she says No.

- Only issue is Place - If you have right Place - Rides will happen.

sit together and watch some partner workout / partner squats videos on youtube involving male-female pairs - and offer her a challenge that way. as this is indoors, you'll have a table or something to stand on to make it easier to get on to her shoulders.
try to do it near a bed or something, so if she's afraid she'll drop you, tell her the bed will break your fall. hope it works out for you.

Best idea which I've used in the past is tell her the lightbulb in your house\appartment broke and next time she's over start to tell her how it's really annoying because you can't reach it and standing on a chair it's still to high , then stand up and say to her please tell me you know how to screw lightbulbs in , then say to her here I'm gunna lift you up ok, she'll probably agree because it's funny then she'll probably ask you how are you gunna lift me that's when you say - turn around and slowly bend down and pick her up without even telling her, I've done this a few times, works every time

He (original poster) wants his female cousin to lift him. not the other way around.

Ohhkkk..

I got it wrong.

I think a cousin girl lifting him on her shoulders is a difficult task.

The only case she might be interested in doing this is -

- If she is really int into it.

- If she is strong, and wanna show her strength.

- If they have really good relations, she can just agree to oblige him, but that will be for short time.

any update? Did you manage to get a ride?
If not yet, I sometime have some success with asking for help while taking a photo. What you need is a bench, something worth taking a photo a few meters away (could be a panorama or architecture or anything else, it just has to be in some heigth or at least you have to convince that the photo would be much better if taken from some heigth) and a girl to ask "I would like to take a photo of this here, can you help me? Can we do piggyback?"
In most cases this works. If you want to be carried, just tell her, that you want the photo in a different style and ask her whether she would try to carry you instead. If youÂ´re shy you can say something like "Well, IÂ´d do the photo myself, but in this case you have to carry me.". Sometimes the girls just reply "oh, well, I can try ...".
You would be surprised how often _this_ works.
