Training in the gym

Hi!
For a very long time I have been wondering what would be the optimal way of training in the gym for the following goals:
- Be able to lift a heavier person on my shoulders.
- Be able to lift anyone I can lift currently for a longer time that I can now.
- Be in a better cardio state.
- Lose fat.
- Build nice looking arms, legs, pectorals and shoulders.
- Have nice looking abdominal muscles.

After asking many training experts and reading a few books, these are my conclusions.

TRAINING PROGRAM

If your training goals are similar to mine, I would strongly encourage you not to change anything. Trust I have done a big research on the topic.
I hope you like it! See you!
P.D.: Sorry if there are English mistakes.

Re: Training in the gym

THX A LOT!

I've been suspecting for a long time that too many of us here are just talkers; everyone has fantasies bur shoulder riding requires a lot of qualities which cannot be exercised by pressing buttons on keyboard!

I can't wait to try Your program. There is something I'd like to add, which I have learned myself:

Running on hard surface can be hard on Your feet and joints; try short, quick races uphill instead !!!

This is a cardial as well as muscle exercise. Can also be done in the gym using machines.

Re: Training in the gym

I'm going shoulder riding tomorrow (23 December 2014). Last ride of the year. Afterwards, I'm buying my faithful and hard-working pony a drink at Ye Olde English Inn (it's 600 years old!) near the woodland where I ride him. I've been on a four-month diet and my weight has gone down from 12 stones to 10 1/2 (that's under 70 kilos). The lighter I am, the longer I can ride him. He doesn't need a workout in the gym. I ride around on his shoulders and give him the workout that way. Better than any gym!

If that's Ali you're meeting, then way to go! Do give him a good workout. Keep him in good shape for our next meeting in the summer (to explain, I had met Ali in the States this past summer and it was awesome). Enjoy!

Re: Training in the gym

Many years ago,I used to train with weights on my shoulders(squats,up and down). It has certainly benefited me,even at the age of 61,I seem to be able to carry people still, although not for such longer periods.
Yes,I had a very enjoyable meeting with checkmateguy-we have been meeting for three years now! And NY Male,I will definitely be coming there some time next year.
Can I wish all our members a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
