Re: new ride lined up

That's insane. You'll never do that. I'd say the rider will be far too heavy. By the way, here in England today, I had a great shoulder ride on Ali2121. Despite the heat (85 degrees today, follow by a massive rainstorm late afternoon) Ali gave me several really good rides through the trees in Hampshire's New Forest. I'm 154 pounds (11 stones) and he's 140 pounds (10 stones.) I rode him wearing tight blue denim jeans, my legs hanging loose instead of with my feet tucked behind his ribs. It's a fantastic way to spend an afternoon! He's off to New York City at the end of next week so he needed to build up his strength and carrying ability - and I was glad to help him out!

Re: new ride lined up

Hi, Its possibly, to carry him! I´m 20kg lighter then "ridecarry" (78kg 175lbs) and lifted a 133kg(300lbs) guy from floor up to shoulders. One of the "rides" was 4 minutes. In one of the 4 lifts I made a short walk! Problem with walking is the ballance, not the weight! So good luck ridecarry! Hope to see pics of your lifts!

Re: new ride lined up

No need to get upset, ridecarry. If you have reason to think you can do it, there's no need to think much about someone saying they doubt it. It's not an insult to you (and certainly wasn't meant as one, Checkmateguy is a good sort, I think). The way to do it would be to give it your best shot, then post the picture to say 'So There'.

Re: new ride lined up

If you can lift that kind of weight, we'd love to see a photo of you doing that (or having a go at trying to, which is almost as good.)
