Maybe the writer of the article thought that 1st April (All Fools' Day) was a good date to write about this subject which he/she might be a fan of and, because of the date, not be criticised for writing about it? The video clip that accompanies the article shows an outbreak of what could be described as 'shoulder-riding fever.' It seems that once one or two girls mount their guys' shoulders, a lot more girls want to do the same. It makes you wonder how many people go to music festivals these days, not for the music but to watch young 'ladies' in tight blue denim jeans sitting astride their boyfriends' shoulders.
