Thank´s for the picture and the video.

It would be interesting to know, if you have ever had people commenting live on your riding?

Re: 2 members say hi! (MOM)

Yes I did.

I like to ride in private the best, but it's not always possible to avoid walking into other people. Especially in this highly populated country and with the number of rides I make on each visit of Shouldertaxi, one is bound to be seen by others sooner or later.

If people decide to comment, it's usually in a friendly way. Where I live it's custom to greet other people when you pass them anyway, so I greet them from high above.
Most of them look a bit puzzled but they greet me too and carry on.
Few make negative comments, but it happens sometimes. Not in an agressive way, but they make sure there's no question about their opinion.

Dogs often react fiercly. They don't recognise us a just two humans. To them we must look like one giant man. Most of them are afraid and burst out barking. Their owners are usually not very pleased when that happens and blame us if they can't get the dog back unter control. Cows, horses, sheep and goats don't react differently as they would do if we pass them on foot.

The Dutch are generally outspoken in the way they communicate, they say what's on their mind and don't worry too much about being polite.  Of course it makes a difference if a girl is on top, but I wonder if riders and carriers in other countries get comments as well.
