Ultimate shoulder rides

Greetings all,  Last time I posted my rider had declined my invite to train during a walk along the trails.  Of course, I was bummed and all but given up on pursuing my life long desire to be trained like a horse.  I'm happy to report that we have had three more rides and the future looks bright!  I don't know what was wrong for that day, but she has a renewed interest in it and we have had three good rides in the last two weeks!

We are working out some adjustments to make her comfortable and secure with positioning and tack.  The main issue for her is I'm too small to ride as she is accustomed to horses over 1,000 pounds.  My 200 lb body and super small seating area atop my shoulders has her trying to find balance, but we are making progress.  We both like the idea of "bare back" to saddle because of the closer contact.  She says our balance issues is a rider problem and I'm content to believe that.  But I wonder if there is something more I can do to help? 

My hopes of becoming like a horse in sensitivity and instincts are proving valid!  She was impressed that I'm able to feel the turning of her head and able to move accordingly.  She once told me that a horse could feel that and I thought it impossible at the time, but I really can feel something so there is hope!  She thinks reigns may not even be necessary and claims she can train me through seat and leg alone.  We do need to find a way to secure her lower legs to my sides as there is a lot of unintended movement right now.  My idea of bungee cord was quickly dismissed as there is in her mind a high degree of danger for her should we fall and she be stuck in a bad position.  I have no intention of letting her fall and even if we did, I'd fall so she won't get hurt.  I'm a martial arts black belt.  Learned to fall good a long time ago!  lol.  Anyone got a suggestion to help her feel more secure?

We rode around a country pond with knee high weeds and hilly (for me) terrain.  I may get some pictures for you if she is willing next time we go. That is if anyone cares to see them.  Otherwise, I won't bother her to ask.  Also, I'd expect any pictures would be from her POV.  So you won't see much but the top down.
