Years ago I discovered a dance (possibly from Mexico?) called “Corridos” which sometimes featured WOM rides astride one shoulder. I’ve found more recent examples of it, including some very brief double-shoulder riding in the complex choreography used by dancers in high-level competitions. I’ve found only one example of longer double-shoulder riding, but the video was so dark the rides were almost invisible, so I’ve brightened it up in a video editor program and will upload it to the archives.
Apparently the basic steps usually involve the woman riding her partner’s thigh. Here’s a good example of that, but these dancers didn’t get as far as shoulder riding:

Here are two more advanced dancers, who included some very nice tight single-shoulder riding:

It seems that couples who discover that the shoulder riding is the most exciting part of the dance may keep riding for over a minute and a half, as this couple did, with the rider nice and snug astride her partner’s shoulder, while he looks very happy about the ride:

Members can find clips like these by searching for “dancing corridos” or “bailando corridos,” and I hope some members who know Spanish will be able to help us find more such clips (and perhaps even more exciting ones).
