Is it a Swedish sport? Never heard of it but would love to attend such an event.

Shoulder-rding races:
a better unusual sport might be 'shoulder-riding races.' For some time now I have been thinking that these could be popular with sports people and the general public. So what do 'shoulder-riding races' consist of you ask?
Well, basically, it consists of a group of like-minded people getting together who enjoy the 'sport' of shoulder-riding. Out of, say, a group of twenty individuals, half would be so-called 'ponies' who like people to sit on their shoulders and ride them. The other half would be 'riders' who like to sit astride the shoulders of 'ponies' and ride them.
When a 'shoulder-riding race' starts, the group of ponies and riders would get into position at the start line very much like race horses and their jockeys do at the start of a horse race. At the start of a 'shoulder-riding race,' which would probably take 10 or maybe 15 minutes for the participants to get into the right position at the start line, you would see all the ponies either standing there or slowly walking around with their riders sat astride the ponies' shoulders. The riders themselves would likely be mainly teenage guys and girls, mainly because being fairly light to carry they would be the preferred riders. There would also be a few riders in their 20s and some a lot older for those ponies would liked the challenge of carrying a heavier rider or who just preferred a much older rider. Obviously, some spectators might find looking at these ponies and riders as they milled around at the start of the race, particularly the riders who probably would be dressed in tight jeans and the like, some of whom maybe might be sitting quite dominantly astride their ponies shoulders (which might be necessary to 'psych up' their ponies so that they are in the right frame of mind to have the endurance to win the race) a somewhat... errr?... stimulating sight.
As for the race itself, it would not involve any swimming pools or the like. Most shoulder-riding races would take place through reasonably flat woodland - maybe along a well-established track or path through the woodland. This means that spectators could stand along various parts of it and cheer on the ponies and riders. The length of the course would be one mile (or one kilometre). That would be the maximum distance. It takes me, for example, about 20 minutes to walk at a steady pace a distance of one mile. For shoulder-riding races, there would be finishing points at the quarter-mile and half-mile stages. The winner, obviously, would be the pony and rider who either completed the mile/kilometre in the quickest time or managed to complete the distance.
Websites/forums like this are the ideal means to start and publicize what would be the brand-new sport of 'shoulder-riding races.' The world is crying out for such an innovative spectacle! It would be idea to show on television. Imagine all those scantily-clad young females wearing just bikini swimwear riding around on hunky guys' shoulders as the guys race each other to try and win the races. For those who prefer to watch guy-on-guy shoulder-rding races, they would see teen guys sat astride big strong muscly shaven-headed guy-ponies whom, knowing how most teen guys are like, they would be riding these 'bone-heads' in a brutally hard way - but nonetheless great stuff to watch on television. As shoulder-riding races stared to become popular with the public, you would see these races taking place at charity events, country fairs or just about anywhere where a public show is taking place - and in most places around the world too. Why haven't we thought about this idea before!!! (Message to the administrator/owner of this forum: put this idea before the media and to TV companies as soon as possible).
