Ciao Friends
Take a look to
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwvE4GsqcvA
This is Zen who ride Trigger (I have the only two clips of this Lady).
This one the best ride I know: the Lady do not ride pacefully, as often we see in other clips, but is demanding, rule her human pony, force him to execute her commands...
The male pony is the famous Trigger

Very good one indeed, if only because the rider seems to be the one benefiting most from the ride, unlike what is shown in most commercial riding clips.
Trigger is a true hero of human riding, with only one flaw, in my opinion : As he provides his riders with stirrups, he should also provide some kind of a saddle, something for the rider to sit on, or at least something to lean Her bottom on. For want of having such a saddle, the riders' riding attitude is clumsy, they are bent over to find some balance, as is the case for that gorgeous Zen, for instance !
Thks, ponyxwoman !

Perhaps a proper saddle is not adequate to a shoulderride: if you see, for example, Wonderpony or Human Floor Tino or the male pony of http://www.clips4sale.com/studio/50245/Cat116/Slave-Riding-Girls-UK,
you can see that the saddle force the pony to be oblique forward, and do not mantain erect position for the shoulderride; i.e. with saddle, you can be ridden on the back, not on the shoulders. The saddle is excellent for 4s rides, instead.
But perhaps there will be something to put on shoulders to be a ride more confortable for the Ladies riders, but I dont known.
Nobody of the best male ponies of the world giving shoulderrides use saddles: for example see Trigger, Gaspman, Manhorse (who is almost unknown, but he is one of the most great male pony), or others.
Can FORBEREIT agree with me (if I not mistake, he also is a male pony as he's have been ridden in 2 famous clips...)?

Hi ponyxwoman
I agree that a regular saddle is not adequate for shoulder-rides. However, it is better if the rider is sitting on Her butt instead of sitting on Her thighs; It is more comfortable, and allows a more elegant riding position.
Therefore, I have often used a plain backpack with a camping foam mattress rolled on top, and received very positive feedback about it ! Trigger could just fix that kind of a foam mattress on the strong straps that he already carries for the stirrups, and obtain the same result. And as regards Manhorse, (whom I happen to know ,and highly respect for his equine talents !), I seem to remember that he sometimes carries some kind of a saddle for the comfort of his gorgeous rider. That sadde, in my memory, is a plain flat cushion that he somehow wears around his neck, and this artefact allows his < again gorgeous > rider to proudly maintain a royal posture while riding.

I'm very happy you known Manhorse, because he's one the most great male ponies of the world, and it is right that his virtues be known by all.
Yes, you are right about Manhorse: now I remember of his saddle-like thing he sometimes put on his shoulders .
About Trigger, you can write him (the email address is on his site) asking about your dubts: he's very available, and myself have contacted him in the past asking things.
