Some time ago Forbereit posted some wonderful video clips on YouTube from rock concerts in Belgrade, with gorgeous riders enjoying some very active rides on their male companions' shoulders. I have combined some of those clips in a video editor, after brightening the images as best I could so that the exciting rides are easier to see. I've uploaded a big file to the "Upload" window of the archive server; I think I need to ask Nick to do me the favor of moving it into the archive folders so that members can download it. All the credit goes to Forbereit for collecting such appealing rides, even in the dark.
The file name is WOM Belgrade.wmv

Forbereit, thank you for your message. If I understand the process correctly, the file will be accessible in the members' archive as soon as it is transferred there from the upload window of the server; I am hoping that Nick will find it convenient to make that transfer soon. After that is done, all members should be able to download it.

David, there seems to be a misunderstanding. We cannot host such huge clips (468 MB) on this server. Normally, clips up to 30 MB are allowed. In exceptional cases, I can assist with uploading a larger clip but not more than 100 MB. All video clips, regardless size, are hosted on our ftp archive server (available to all donators).

Nick, I guess this just isn't my week. I know about the 30 Mb limitation, which is why I went to the server instead of the usual upload link. That file is so large because it runs about fifteen minutes and I didn't want to sacrifice quality. I apologize for the error.
Would it be satisfactory to split the file into small segments and upload them separately, to be glued back together by interested members, after downloading, using hjsplit?

You mean 30 MB x 15 files? Not very good I think. Considering the length (15 minutes) you should be able to squeeze in everything in 120 MB without any directly noticeable artefacts in the video quality. There are also software that can merge video clips without having to re-encode everything.

Nick, thank you for your message. No, I wasn't thinking in terms of more than two dozen component files. Early next week I will experiment with my editor's settings and try to produce one or more files of more appropriate size with minimal loss of quality.
