Ultimate shoulder rides

From time to time I’ve posted large groups of photos from trick-cycling contests, featuring athletic riders in tights riding with perfect form.  Riding in these competitions is mainly WOW, but there are some marvelous WOM events, and even a few MOM.  Some special photos show the winners in different categories being given shoulder rides by teammates, coaches, or volunteers (who look very happy) who jog and bounce around while their excited riders enjoy the experience.

In the past I’ve cropped, enlarged and enhanced the photos before posting many of them in the members' photo galleries.  But I think these rides are so good that they should be shared with everybody.  Many HUNDREDS of good rides may be found at the following site, most of which is translated from German to English.  (Most of the competitors seem to be from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.)

This will bring up each of the competing horse and rider pairs in turn.  Click on the blue link to get to the photos themselves.  You will be able to see some wonderful riding that I have never posted because some of the best parts of some photos have text superimposed on them.

As a special treat, look for a category called “Siegerehrung” in any event, even individual or team events. This is where you’ll often find photos of very attractive riders who have won their competitions and are being given active and exciting rides by enthusiastic horses.

You can enlarge and brighten the images with Microsoft Office Picture Manager or whatever equivalent program exists on Apple computers.  Brightening them is a good idea because it shows legs in black tights more clearly.
