Ultimate shoulder rides

Last year I was lucky enough to have several sessions with a 19 year old guy who enjoyed sitting on my shoulders and being carried around.

I did take him on a number of long rides outside in the woods but was unable to film these which is shame as was great fun although very hard work as he was a lot heavier than he looks and very dominant, making me carry him up hills and over obstacles, would then have to stand still for 10-15 mins with him still sitting on my shoulders whilst he had his lunch then carry him back, he did let me have a few breaks but I would then have to lay on the ground and he would sit on me, so not really much of a break I guess lol

Sounds like great fun for you! As you rightly say, you were lucky.

I've just viewed the video and I'd rate it as 5 stars. Please make more like this! The reverse shoulder sit was good and cleverly converted into a schoolboy-pin hold when the two of you collapsed on the bed. He's a natural rider who tries all the different shoulder riding combinations and, similarly, takemyweight seems like a natural (and very wiling) pony-guy. Excellent!

A very good video-it just shows how many different positions you can adopt in a confined space such as a room.Some riders are just content to sit on their ponies without actually moving-I met one such rider last year.He weighed 77kg,and me just 63 kg!Still,I think that the pony should do what his rider wants,and this video illustrates it very well.

Thanks glad people enjoyed the video, I weighed 170lbs and the rider was 160lbs but after spending 4-5 hours of him sitting around on me etc then having to take him for a long ride he felt a lot heavier.

It was actually someone I used to work with, we were painting an outside barn but the ladder broke and we had to have the job finished so he came up with the idea of sitting on my shoulders to reach the high bits, then after that we met up a number of times
