Hi, been reading this forum for a afew weeks and decided pop my head up.

I've never ridden anyone male or female but would really like to. Im 40 (ish) male, but Im heavy guys and girls. Not really too overweight just very heavy, im 17.5 stone. Id idealy like a shoulder ride but dont want to hurt anyone. if you are interested or want to know more then please just ask or message me. Im not looking for romance, sex or anything like that , would just love a good ride on someone strong enough to take my weight.

It would be best if you told us where you are, and also, perhaps, what 17.5 stone means in pounds or kilos .... ?!

Ze French-they do not know-1 stone(not a rock) is 14 lbs or 6.36kg-that means that 17.5st is 111.36kg-savy.

Thank you my friend ! I now understand that riderwantsride1 is a highly respectable rider, with a nicely challenging weight, the ideal match for any strongly motivated pony, actually !

I would have understood up front what it was all about, if ze English had kept their promise to switch to ze metric system back in 1888, in exchange for ze French committment to vote for the Greenwich zero longitude, instead of the Paris-based one ....

Ah Mon Ami,

Why would we. change ze system that as been around for hundreds of years to one that the natives eat the leg of the frog and suck de snails
In fact ze franch did not agree viz de line and still used their one for several decades
Two lines at once-got in himmel.

Hi Mastadon, happy new year to you and to all members in this forum ! I wish you rides and happy trails every single day of this new year !

But I have first to respectfully disagree with you Mastadon ... France switched to Greenwhich meridian in due timing, but you're nearly right on one point though ...: A few years after that Washington convention of 1888, countries had to officially choose on which meridian they wouldl position themselves, either GMT, or GMT +1, GMT-2.... etc according to their longitude. France, due south of the UK, should have, logically, opted for GMT ... But, rightfully considering that the roastbeefs had shamefully cheated as regards their switching to the metric system, the frogs childishly put France on GMT+1 ... We even called that time "l'heure boche" (Krauts' time), in France for a few decades, as it also was and still is, Berlin time .. Spain in turn, chose GMT +1, to be in line with its major neighbours and business relations... So the UK ended up being the only country on GMT in Europe, with Portugal though, who chose GMT just to be different from their Spanish "friends" ...

I often thought that the UK later granted independance to Ireland just to end that solitude ....

Ah Mon cher ami-my deepest fellications-thank you for your timely lesson on mean time-but it is better on some things to be alone, when all around you is in a mess -I can feel it coming-the time when we will have to bail out the euro-with the help of our Chinese friends.
