Great videos you post as always, rideschulter!! Yes,the closeups are the best..The guy who was video taping this must have been beside (or right in the group)..There must be more shoulderrides in Malta,per capita,than any other country in the world..

For sure, and I wonder WHY ??? We happen to see, now and then, kids attending those maltese ceremonies sitting astride adults' shoulders, probably their parents, or relatives, and the same can be seen everywhere else in Europe/America ... Now the question is : WHY, HOW COME that, in Malta, they obviously don't stop shoulder riding when they turn 10,12, 14 at the most, as they do everywhere else in Europe/America ????

I believe the religion is quite repressive in Malta as regards sexual relation, so, maybe SR might be an innocent-looking alternative to forbidden physical/sexual contacts ? There must be a trick, something we don't understand, and it's a pity, because if we did, we could import it and multiply the number of SR opportunities in our countries ?!

Don't we have any Maltese member on board, who could try and explain this little miracle ??
