today is the closing ceremonies,as we all know..However,I have a feeling that there will be a lot of shoulder rides this year..The reason is,there will be concerts, from the Who,Spice girls,George Michael, and so on...They will do the closing ceremonies a little different this year, they said..I just hope the weather is warm enough, for the female athletes to wear, shorts skirts, and not just pants..It should be interesting..We can view three feeds from this, from here In Canada, where I live..it will be CTV,NBC in the States, and BBC canada of Englands version..The feeds are not the same, cause each country likes to show more of their own athletes..The Canadian team seems to have more shoulder rides each olympics than any other team..We deserve the gold medal for shoulder rides:)

Let's hope women wear skirts, not "sport clothes" = long sport pants and cameraman let us see shoulderriidng views some seconds

They ended the closing ceremony, about an hour ago..The music acts were actually real good..Some classics and some modern music mixes in the acts..Now,onto the shoulder rides..I have noticed a trend for Canadian, and American tv..They only seem to want to show their own athletes, and no one elses..So,we don't get a good idea as what the other athletes are doing..
As for the canadian team..Yes,they were showing them, with shoulder rides..It was actually good, just comming into the stadium..However,the bad....They were only a few,and each time, the girls were wearing those awful olympic athletic pants material..
As for the American version of the closing ceremony..NBC will show it starting at 8:30 pm eastern standard time..Just a few moments from the time that I am writing this..As for the concerts..The athletes were WAY TO FAR from the stage..All the athletes were all around the stages, but ,they were split into many groups, and not just all the athletes together..I think this eliminated a lot of shoulder rides durring the acts..I knew, they would somehow screw this up for us..I guess, they knew, there would be way to much shoulder rides for family viewing:(..Of course,we can check out the European feed on youtube,or other video sources, and maybe they may have shown us more shoulder rides, than what I saw on Canada's CTV..

The video in this site can not be seen if my IP is not in Germany. Do you have any method to let the ones who are not in Germany watch this video?
Thank you very much!!!

Unfortunately,American cameramen are not very enlightened when it involves showing what we desire to see. NBC is the most inept network I have ever had the misfortune of having to view. Their camera work is mediocre at best and I wish they would give up the contact and all the cable stations to broadcast the Olympics. Entirely too many commercials and generally too much ineptitude.

About NBC coverage..They do not show the openning or closing ceremonies live..It is taped delayed..This way, they can edit risky shoulder rides, and other things they feel would make the public uncomfortable..

This too is not available in America. Can not speak for other countries. Hoping it goes in the archives. But, then I need to do this for others when videos are exclusively available in my country.
