What do you feel, sitting on the shoulders of other people?

What do you feel, sitting on the shoulders of other people? Generally taken from a desire - to sit on the shoulders of another person? Why do people love to sit and ride on the shoulders of each other? What feelings and emotions you feel from this?

Probably each of us when I was a kid, liked to ride on the shoulders of his father or older brother. These riding on the shoulders of a loved one, a good and strong man caused a variety of feelings. For example - the feeling of taking off - when you feel yourself rising up and moving over land. Or - a feeling of great height, when you - the kid was planted on his shoulders, suddenly grew taller than the tallest man. As well as a sense of omnipotence, when he was able to manage and give orders to someone who is bigger and stronger than you, dutifully and carefully carrying you on his shoulders.
And sometimes, to re-experience the same feelings experienced in childhood, we sit astride on the shoulders of friends and colleagues, participating in games such as: «chicken fight», «race on shoulders».
Ask to speak on the topic. Participate in the discussion and maybe you learn about yourself, something new.

Re: What do you feel, sitting on the shoulders of other people?

I'm already 44,but as far as I can remember I always liked being carried on a strong man's shoulders,I feel a strong emotion when this happens (rarely) and it makes me feel safe and protected at the same time....I also think that this hides a lack of affection from my father, effectively I don't remember any episode in my childhood when my father did that....anyway I like it and will always like it

Re: What do you feel, sitting on the shoulders of other people?

Thank you for sharing your experiences, robinmax. My father carried me on the shoulders, too, not as often as I would like to me. But I had two brothers, so in my childhood I never had problems with the shoulders riding.

Thanks for the message, chubs3113.
I myself respect the democratic shoulderriding: I love to ride on the shoulders of a partner, and, of course, I love to ride on the shoulders of a partner himself.

Re: What do you feel, sitting on the shoulders of other people?

Question: 'What do you feel, sitting on the shoulders of other people?' Power, that's what! Let stop beating about the bush, okay? Most riders like to shoulder-ride because it makes them feel horny. Simple as that. Riding a pony-guy instead of a pony-horse is far more fun than the real thing. It feels great to shoulder-ride another person and be in change/control of them. Anyone who has watched some of the YouTube videos will have seen the way some people, particularly some women, like to dominantly shoulder-ride the person on whom shoulders they're riding. For some riders, it is all about exercising power and control over another person. Saying that, lots of ponies love being used and abuse that way!

Re: What do you feel, sitting on the shoulders of other people?

I respect all of you who like riding men. I have never rode anyone in my lifetime. I have always been the carrier. There is just something about carrying women, ladies, girls. Makes me feel wanted. Although I do enjoy carrying a man also it is not the same as carrying a female.

Not so simple in shoulder-ride, checkmateguy.
Not all people are divided into «riders» and «pony's». I myself, for example as a centaur: half-rider - half-pony.

Do not limit yourself, femlifter52.
You could have at least once in a lifetime ride on the shoulders of a partner. This process causes a lot more emotion than described checkmateguy.

Re: What do you feel, sitting on the shoulders of other people?

Yikes.  I cant imagine riding someone.  I would not ride a woman as i am almost 200 lbs and convinced it would hurt them.  Further have no desire what so ever to have my crotch pressed against another man's neck.  no disrespect at all to anyone to each his own..

No guy has ever asked me to carry him with the exception of my gay brother-in-law. I never felt the need to ride anyones shoulders as ,like I say, I am a big man. 275# I was never a small man.

Re: What do you feel, sitting on the shoulders of other people?

Nice topic raised Sivka-Burka!

No disrespect meant to you, but I would like to agree more to Checkmateguy in this regard.
A mount is never a fatherly figure to me and I would be extremely uncomfortable to think that way.
The stranger the person, the more relaxed I would be and may be more fun, it would be.

Riding somebody is a smart idea.
I like the fact that somebody else is bearing my weight to make me more comfortable and I get enjoyment at the expense of his or her energy.
The feel of the muscles working under me makes me feel nice.
So what can be a better thing to do than riding somebody who himself like to give you ride?
And if you don’t get any such ideal person, convince somebody to carry you!

It has nothing to do with rising high or getting taller. I dont think anybody thinks about his father while riding his friend.

You are absolutely right when you say that most people like riding in childhood because it gives some kind of enjoyment.
But many people get out of that feeling after adulthood because they discover new kinds of enjoyment.
However many people like us never get out of it and for some, the passion increases with time!

Hi, lovetoride.
I just wanted to say that all of us and our desires and habits come from childhood.
What we like about the shoulder riding it became clear during our childhood.

Re: What do you feel, sitting on the shoulders of other people?

I may be the only one on this whole board that will respond with this... and I may be the only one to feel this...

But I totally enjoy the comfort of the ride for one, and honestly, I enjoy looking down at how someone parts their hair, especially a woman. I've ridden only women (with the exception of my Dad in my youth and my brothers) and for some reason I love how the majority of ladies part their hair, whether it be on the side or down the middle.

I know I know, you already think i'm kooky, but that's the way i've always been with shoulder riding.

Anyone in the U.S. want to give and receive shoulder rides?

Re: What do you feel, sitting on the shoulders of other people?

By using the word 'kooky' you mean, probably, 'kinky.' This word means 'bent' or, more appropriately, 'not straight' or 'twisted.' The word is used to describe abnormal s*e*x*u*a*l practices. We must remember, of course, that girls and guys indulge in shoulder-riding (carrying others on their shoulders or giving shoulder rides to others for all sorts of reasons. Kids, for example, do it for pure fun (horseplay). Some grown-up females let men they know or are married to give them a shoulder ride because these guys like to do that. The women themselves may or may not actually enjoy having a ride on a guy's shoulders but nonetheless go along with what the guys in their lives want. As for grown-up guys having a ride on another guy's shoulders (or grown-up guys giving other men a ride on their shoulders) - they could be doing it for pure fun or because they find that the activity is gratifying... in what way it is gratifying, I'll let you decide that!

Regarding the quote, "For a stranger to our club "Ultimate shoulder rides" may also seem strange ..."

Very correctly said, Sivka-Burka. The feeling of strangeness depends on personal view. Its not universal.
