Ultimate shoulder rides

Just want to say that we had a Bank Holiday here in the UK on Monday 07 May 2012. It was wet (of course, it always is on Bank Holidays!) but I spent most of the day shoulder-riding my friend and pony out in the New Forest, Hampshire, England. We had a great pub lunch at the olde worlde pub at midday that's about a 10 minutes walk up the narrow country lane from where we do the shoulder-riding. I've found that the more I shoulder-ride my friend, the better I'm getting at it. I've now  achieved excellent balance and when I get on his shoulders I stand on a fallen tree truck and just slip forwards astride his shoulders and 'ride him!' In fact, I like to shoulder-ride him in a very cocky style with my feet tucked in behind his ribs and with my thumbs tucked into the side hip pockets of my jeans - dead cool like. It feels really exhilarating shoulder-riding him that way as he carries me through the trees while he tramps through the leaves which are still lying thick on the forest floor. And unlike last time when I fell off twice, this time I didn't fall off once!
