Ultimate shoulder rides

I have been noticing lately,that flickr's picture postings has dropped by almost 50%(some days),than this time last year..A good example is,that when I use a search term,like BEACH,let's say,this time last year had thousands of uploads(photos)more than this date today..It's not just one day..Each day comparing the photos,last year had way more than this year..It has fallen so much,over the past few months..Flirck is still the more popular,photo sharing site in the world(facebook doesn't have an image seach yet),but they are lossing so much uploads..I am wondering what has effected this..Ok,facebook,for one,but not much else as new photos sharing sites,images searches out there..I did notice that smugmug,has improved their web site..When you chose a date,it actually shows you all the pics..The problem is,it is so slow,and stalls/freezes at times..To view the pics on their site,you have to keep scrolling down..I do hate this feature..Back to flickr's problem and losing their members /photos to other sources..People are using more video now than ever before..Still though,not much else competition for them,so still trying to figure out,why the mass decline..It would take me a few hours ,to finish one day ,of 30 different search terms..now,it takes me less than one hour..This is how much less photos per day, there are for my searches..I do know that the pics will increase now that the weather in north america,and Europe are getting into warmer months(summer time)...I do hope that they will improve,or else,may have to look at other resources like smugmug..Thanks for your time all..
