You can load a bag (eg a dog food, 25 kilos) on the shoulders of a ponyboy and then ride on it? ... Or you can load things on a ponyboy ride while.

Yes, this is a great idea!
In my college time I wanted my female friends to carry my weight somehow; so many times I used to give my bag to them when we go for a walk. So she has to carry her weight as well as my weight and I just have to walk freely!
This was my secondary choice because my first choice of riding on their shoulders on the road was not possible!

A great idea,Lovetoride-getting your girlfriends to carry your bag as well as yourself!
Personally,I would not like a bag loaded on to my shoulders BEFORE the rider mounts-it might cut into my back,especially with the riders' weight on top of it as well! But if the rider mounted me first,THEN picked up an extra weight,I think that would be better.

Yes and interestingly the girls did carry my bag whenever I requested without any objection. I just tell them I feel bored to carry my bag.
I understand your problem, but I always think practically. I am not thinking about a weight of 25 kg (of dog food), but of 2 to 5 kg (of my personal belongings) which a bag will usually weigh. If I had a bag and I was to ride on your shoulders, I will not enjoy first mounting you and then holding the bag myself. I hate weights. I will request you to carry the bag in your hand or on your shoulder or around your neck as per your convenience and then mount on your shoulders to enjoy a nice ride with you bearing all the weight. Hope you will agree to this request of mine if I happen to come to England someday with a ‘bag’, a small one off course :-)

Lovetoride,dont worry about lugging all those extra weights around!Why dont you get your girlfriend to sit on YOUR shoulders,then you could sit on MY shoulders!On second thoughts,I would probably collapse in a heap,like most of those 3-person lifts you see on U-tube!

Very sensible suggestion indeed!
However I never carry my girlfriend, instead I make her my pony all the time.
Though I sit on my girlfriend’s shoulders many times while she is in sitting position, she never lifted me on shoulders and gave me ride. I couldn’t decide whether I should insist her and demand for a lift or just be satisfied by frequently sitting on her shoulders.
So once I told her to sit on my shoulders, I got up and walked for around 5 to 10 meters just to know whether I should insist her to carry me. I realized that it is not very difficult to give a short ride, but not an easy job too. Since she is lighter than me, I decided not to insist her for that. This was the first and only time somebody got to sit on my shoulders.
I am a fan of long ride, so as you have agreed, the type of ride you suggested could last only for few seconds.
