Ultimate shoulder rides

Of course guys understand their own motivations. Sometimes rides are, or seem to be, just spontaneous, like chicken fights merely for the fun of it. From what I've seen on the Web, some men are looking to be controlled, which seems different. But several of my mounts, from high school on, have said quite frankly that having a girl ride their shoulders is a harmless but exciting way to have an opportunity of feeling a woman's legs wrapped around their bodies, and the close, intimate contact of their riders astride the backs of their necks.

The operative word is harmless. From the woman's perspective, mine anyway, it's an opportunity for fun and excitement, some of it quite erotic, which seems perfectly natural to me. That's why I've never been shy about happily accepting rides from attractive strangers who offer them at rock concerts. Of course, riding a man I love is another issue entirely for both of us.

I know there have been polls in the past, but it would be interesting to hear from some of you guys just what motivates you to invite a pretty girl to mount you in various circumstances, and how you feel about carrying her.

I love Christmas, for its spirit, its music, and incidentally the fact that my friends know I'm adept at decorating Christmas trees. I've thought about having a tee shirt printed with "Who needs a ladder when you've got me?" but it isn't really necessary. My friends seem glad to have my help, and I'm always happy to supply it for those top branches whenever they want, day or night, night or day. Has anyone else found that Christmas trees provide an opportunity for some great rides?

I know that there have been polls, but it's fascinating to hear in detail how the guys in the club really feel about carrying riders, and to my mind the female members have nothing to be ashamed of or shy about, so it would be nice to hear more about their perspective. Remember -- it's fun and it's harmless.

I've found that some women really like shoulder rides more for the fun of it than anything else. I remember a few years ago watching a sports team championship parade with a female friend. She is only 5' 2" but I offered to let her sit on my shoulders and watch the parade and she jumped at the chance. She just sat up there as content as could be until I had to put her down. She loved it. But the only shoulder rides I give now are to my wife. When we first met, she hated them. Not sure why but just did. She now loves them basically because I always offer to give her rides. I haven't thought of giving a ride while decorating the Christmas tree, which sounds like it would be a blast but just yesterday my wife was cleaning the dining room breakfront and was stretching to reach as high as she could. I just came behind her, picked her up on my shoulders, and she said good idea and finished cleaning. I think I just love the feeling of having two tan legs wrapped around my neck and the feeling of her body changing positions while sitting on my shoulders. We were also recently at Epcot and standing 5 or 6 deep watching the fireworks and another display on the water. My wife was in front me me and I saw her stading on her tipppy toes trying to get a better view. I leaned forward and asked her if she could see all right and she said yes. Then I saw her again trying to stretch for a better view and she turned around, asked to sit on my shoulders and I held her up there for 15 minutes while watching the display and fireworks. It was great. The problem now is that she knows I love to give shoulder rides and won't let anyone else ride on my shoulders. Oh well.

Thank you Liz for another interesting debate and deisan for your interesting comment as well! I have similar feelings as you but you have a wife who now loves to be on your shoulders and who even gets jealous if you think about giving shoulder rides to other women. I envy you!
As for me the things I like about having a girl on my shoulders are: When I see a nice girl with beautiful legs I just can't help thinking about how it would be to have her on my shoulders. When I do have a girl on my shoulders it is simply a great feeling, especially of course when I notice that she really likes it and is joyful up there. For me it is a very special form of intimacy and although I usually have girls on my shoulders in so called every day situations it has something quite erotic for me as well. The more active the rider is the better the ride gets for me. For instance when she expresses her fun to be carried that way maybe even by telling me where she wants to "go", when she puts her hands on my head or playfully in front of my face/eyes, when she keeps her tighs close to my neck and wrapps her feet around my body by stucking them closley behind my back and when she doesn't tell me with any word to be put down again. And of course if she asks for the ride. But usually I am the one who mostly starts the initiative for the shoulder ride.
