The other day I took a long time friend of mine to the beach. I'm 160 lbs, and she is about 125. She didn't want to get in the water quickly, so I was obligated to throw her in, of course. She ended up trying to wrestle with me, which ended up with her getting tossed around some more. And our way back to the sand, I got a piggyback ride from her. I had a feeling I could get some shoulder riding in as well.
The next time we went back in the water, I gave her a shoulder ride for maybe ten minutes, walking into shallow water and back into deeper water. She was laughing like crazy, it was good for both of us. When I put her down, I quickly put my hands on her shoulders and hopped up in the air, sitting on her shoulders. She couldn't hold me for long (barely ten seconds) even in somewhat deep water, but what a thrill it was. I wasn't able to get another shoulder ride out of her, but I did give her another one for good measure. We ended up having a great time that day, so I'm thinking that there is some more in the future.

themasterkavar, I had almost the exact same experience with my high-school girlfriend. We were both 17 and around 150 lbs; she was maybe two inches shorter than me. We were at the beach in early summer, and it started with me carrying her over my shoulder into the water and basically dropping her in once it got pretty deep. We horsed around for a while, tackling each other, and after lifting her up a few times I was grabbing her shoulders and she said, "Yeah, get on," and I jumped on her back. She carried me through the water for a few steps and then sent us both over, after which point I swam under her, brought her up on my shoulders and carried her out to the sand again. I took her along for about three minutes or so, and she was constantly laughing/yelping. I put her down on a sandbar, figured I would press my luck, and I put my hands on her shoulders and said, "My turn!" almost as a joke, even expecting her to take it as such. But then she said, "Okay, I'll try, but I'll have to pick you up in the water." So we went in until the water was deep enough, she ducked under me and brought me up, and she solidly carried me on her shoulders out of the water, back to land and down the beach, for almost a minute. A little while later when we were about to leave, I gave her another shoulder ride up the beach. After I got tired and put her down we agreed that it was probably too late to get back in the water so she could give me one, but I got a good piggyback ride instead.
