very very good, andyivan2010!
Is that in China a tradition that the bride is carried on shoulders?

Thank you andyivan2010!
It would be truly interesting to know the background information about this tradition (?). Is this something similar like a stag party? Why is the girl on shoulders of the groom?

In some area of China, the groom must carry the bride from her parent house, it is a ceremony.

I don't think is similar like a stag party.
It is traditional to Tease the bride on wedding night, some young men may trick the the bride or some girls like the maid of honour at wedding.

This kind of wedding custom is held in Hunan province.
I guess mostly rural people would like to do this tradition.
The groom has to carry the bride on his shoulders and the bride has to pour wine as a game.

In fact it's the first time I have ever heard of such a tradition (no matter what place). I could only wish it would be like that here, then we would see and get many more shoulder rides of course.
Can you tell us if there is a "name" of this tradition respectively ceremony? Or a phrase or so? I would like to see if there is any further information on the internet about this (written information, more pics and videos etc.). Is this held only in Hunan Province? How common is this? If I would ask a Chinese girl about this, would she probably know anything about it?
Thanks a lot!

The name of this act is called "喝拱酒" in Chinese, but I think when you search this on the web, you can't find any similar thing. I don't know why, maybe there is another particular name, but i don't know.~
Hopefully people in the mainland China can tell more in detail.
From the wed, it said this kind of custom is held in the wedding of Hunan people, so I guess only Hunan people would do that.
