I know everyone tries and everyone says it never happens but maybe no one did it properly.

I hope you have better luck in the US than I do here in UK...............Lots of chat but no real rides. Sorry I rephrase that to not many real rides, the likes of Malethongrider are the exception. Would be good to pony for a lighter rider occasionally

I'd be down for that but I'm also a little wary about trying to build Rome in a day. I don't mind planning an event, but also want to plan something low-key along the way, e.g. meeting up somewhere to discuss how to plan an event.
Putting faces behind screen names would be nice too. I feel like if you know someone then you'd be more vested and try to make something happen.
