Canada Day

Yesterday was Canada Day. The weather was perfect! I wandered among the crowd that was milling about Waterloo Park. Hundreds and hundreds of nice people of all ages, and a clearly happy and relaxed atmosphere. But I could not see any adult SR; there were only four or five dads carrying small children. What is wrong with my town?!
Last night, on TV, I watched the big evening show on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. I could barely make out that there were perhaps two or three girls riding shoulders. Did any Canadian among the crowd take snapshots of those happy folks?

Re: Canada Day

HI fellow Canadian, it is nice to see that I am not alone.  I rarely see shoulder rides where I live.  I was wondering if you think it is possible to form a shoulder riding club.  Also, would you be interested in giving me a ride or would you prefer reciveing a ride. I can be contacted at notlertomp@yahoo.com
P.S. I am 5ft. 8inchs tall and weigh about 145 pounds.

Dear bullet. Yes, that would be fun; unfortunately I will soon be 76, and not in great shape. You are a male too, and heavier than I am. So, prospects are not great, I am afraid. Sorry about that.

Re: Canada Day

Thanks, Gunde. Once you are in this ballpark, a couple years more or less do not make a big difference, but better be accurate indeed.
