I do not understand the reluctance to grant me bonus membership and at least giving me the courtesy of a response telling me why it is not possible to honor my request. I have been an active member until my illness and I believe that Ideserve at least an explanation as to why my bonus membership was rescinded.

You got it. We administrators aren´t online every day. We must see a request first and sometimes discuss the matter among ourselves before an answer can be given.
This is a hobby for each of us. We have our day jobs and holidays, so we can´t always react immediately.
