when I am doing searches each day,Flickr only let's you see about 170 pages..
An Example is when I am doing my BEACH searches, after around 170 pages or so,the pages(photos) remain the same..
so in reality,I am missing a lot of stuff durring a day..I figure beach to have around 400 NEW pages per day,yet we are only able to see 170..There is a way to see all the new pages all the time..You have to be doing searches every few hours or so..As for me,by the time I come home and start doing searches,I have missed already around 200 pages by 7 pm my time..When I start my beach search,I just have basically the last handfull of pages..Durring the winter though, there are not as many pages,so we don't miss anything..I am only talking about the summer months mostly here in north america..

Hi Vaggelli
Have you tried the "advance searc" option that they now have? You can search all pics by one date only just type the date in the "from" and "to" fields - although again, I think 170 pages is the limit. Flickr is starting to get heaps of traffic, but I am afraid Webshots is still the best site for the pictures that interest us. A far higher greater overall percentage will always be in there than other sites. Their "Newest First" option seems to have been improved in recent days - they are now re-indexing every day and already have pics in there that were only posted yesterday. Plus all new pics going back to the start of May. Try the terms "Beach" and "Summer" in there - I am sure you will find something. There is already 1/4 million new pics just under "Summer.

I have STACKS of new pictures by the way - hope this weekend I can finally re-start posting them in here.

Hey Scotty,
thanks for the imforation:)..
I am actually a big fan once again with webshots..I restarted doing searches with them about 2 months ago..
I am using terms BEACH,and pool, swim and( a few others) so on..I wish I had more time doing summer, but for now,I can only handle this load..
I try and compare flickr to webshots many times..It seems there are different in a few ways..I feel the members on flickr are more international and not just people from the USA..
As for photobucket,if this was open like webshots and flickr..I guess I am trying to say photobucket is so damn private..they must have like a million shoulder ride pics that we will never see..they have the most pics of any search sites in the world bar none..what good is 3 billion photos when you can't view like 99% of them it seems...
This is why I still have webshots as you say,the best for what we want, and flickr number two..
glad you are around Scotty, and we sure look forward in seeing your pics in the comming weeks or so..

Hi Vaggelli
I wouldn't waste my time even thinking about "Photobucket" - it is not a photo sharing site, merely a repository for people saving their own pictures for social networking sites like MySpace etc. It is not a photo-sharing site at all and should not even count in talking about what is the biggest site overall. And what a complete wank that "picture counter" is - it means absolutely nothing. The majority of the so-called "pictures" are crap taken on peoples mobile, or cell phones etc. What we do not see does not worry me. The "public" photobucket main site is just a small fish in the big ocean - they would be lucky to have a few million publicly searchable pictures at the most. The whole thing is a total wank.

Hello Scotty and Vag.
I maybe outta the loop here, but is it my understanding flickr is taking over yahoo photos or Yahoo Groups along with the photos by the end of September?
