In the Egg Joust, each pairing will have two teams participate. Teams will consist of a male and a female.Each team will work together to knock out the other pairings by breaking their opponent’s egg. The eventwill have two rounds with each pairing participating in both rounds. The top three teams in each round willmove on to the next round. The top six teams will advance to the final championship round. The top fiveteams will be awarded event points. No jewelry is to be worn during this event. RULES:

The teams will consist of one male and one female. The female will sit on the male’s shoulders. If thefemale falls off the shoulders or touches the ground with any body part during the game, the team will bedisqualified.2. The male will have an egg in a nylon sock secured to his forehead.3. The female’s free hand MUST be placed on the TOP of the males head to avoid protection of the teamsegg. Protection of your own or your partner’s egg with your hand or any other mechanism of defense willbe given one warning, but if continues will result in disqualification.4. Eggs can only be broken by the rolled up newspaper that is issued by Greek Week Central. Use of otherbodily parts will result in disqualification. At any point the newspaper is dropped the team must pick it upwith no help. Disqualification will occur if any spectators hands the team the dropped newspaper. 5. All teams must stay within the given boundaries or will be disqualified. Boundaries are subject to changein size during a round.6. Participants must wear eye protection that PAIRINGS must provide.7. If your egg breaks under any circumstances, your team is done with the event and must leave thedesignated boundary area. 8. The winner is the last team with the unbroken egg.
