I have been doing yet more searches of older pics on flickr as I said just a few days ago..I started with the dates January 1 ,2005,,and will stop around September 2006,as this is when I started doing my normal new searches on flickr..
I wanted to know something and hoped some of you may know about this site...
Basically most of you know that to download a photo from flickr, you click on the size for what you want, and then you just click on the photo and you have it...
Ok,there are photos in which there is no size for us to click on..So these photos we cannot download..As you can probably guess what I am saying is that I found a few goooooood photos in which I cannot download..
Now my 2 questions are..
#1 Why do most photos have the size for us to click and download, yet others don't?
#2 Is there a way for us to somehow download these photos in which we cannot download them into our computer the normal way as when we do click on a photo?I am just talking about flickr site and nothing else..
Thanks guys..

There is a way if you're using Firefox. Click right in the browser window, take "save side" and chose a file name. If you name the file "side1.htm", Firefox saves this "side1.htm" and a folder "side1-files". In this folder are all pictures embedded in this side.

You need to right click on the side background, not the pic. Then you must choose "save side", not "save picture". In the download window of Firefox you must choose "webside, complete", not "webside, html only".
If your browser don't have this function, why don't you trial Firefox? It's free (and much better ans saver than the Internet Explorer).

Hi Vaggelli
This problem happens in Flickr as some members who post pictures disable the option that enables others to save their picture. That is why you do not see the "full size" option. When you save the picture, it saves it as a "GIF spaceball" which is useless. Besides the use of Firefox which Walter has pointed out, you can also get programs that overrride the "no right click" option as well. A good one is "source code browser" which I use myself. I think it has a free trial version. I paid and received the proper version. Then any website that runs through the browser will enable you to download the pictures. Just type "source code browser" into google and look for a free trial version.

I assume you can also hit the "Print Scrn" button (above the "Insert" button) on your keyboard and paste it in any photo editor (Paint, Photoshop etc).
