Hello, i've just registered in this forum and i would like to know if there are spanish people interested in shoulder riding here, who could tell me about spanish communities, (female) contacts to practice shoulder riding at Spain, etc. Thanks.

Dear Gunde, Louie, Nick and anybody else concerned,

Como se dichi puesto en Italiano
(How is it said in Italian....?)

Vie sagtman auf Deuthch
(How say it in German....?)

Kaks kasat     Porruski
(How is it said in Russian....?)

......yong Zhongwen zhenmei shuo?)
(All the aforestated, how to state in Mandarin?)              ETC.

Since we are requiring that all Spanish be translated into English then I request the same for all other languages such as German, Swedish, Russian, Italian, etc.

Besides, this gives me more chances to learn more languages.

Since we are insisting that all Spanish be translated to English then I request that all be required to follow the same rule such that all German, Russian, Italian, etc. be translated to English too.

Besides, this will give me more chances to learn other languages.

An edit to the above:

Maybe German speakers, etc. are required to translate to English now but in the past they were not. Either way, language learning opportunities and increased multi-cultural understanding  are good.

Re: Españoles?/Spanish members?

On a personal note about this issue I agree that the more languages we can understand and communicate in the more valuable we become. It doesn't mean that people who can't speak in any foreign language are not valuable. It means that we should show respect to those who additionaly learned other languages. Some people who were "lucky" to be born with a universal language such as English could lean back and expect others to learn their language. In many countries in Europe as well as on other continents though it is normal to know more than the own mother tongue. Some can talk three, four or five, even more languages. That I truly believe deserves respect.

I can communicate in three foreign languages (and there are several members in this group who know more than that); I am not as good as I would like to be, including English, I am far of being perfect. And I want to add some further language skills too, like Spanish. To be honest I am always grateful if someone (especially a native speaker) is correcting my mistakes since I want to improve.

I go along with the suggestion of some members and my fellow admins that everyone is free to write posts in his own language if he can express himself better like that. In addition that member should nonetheless try to at least approximately translate the idea of his post to English for the majority of the members - unless of course he doesn't know any English.
Let's be honest. We should not discourage those who are not as good as we are in English. We should appreciate that they try. Nothing more than that will be expected.

Re: Españoles?/Spanish members?

The only problem with everyone communating in their own mother tongue-is that on translation the original meaning can be distorted to the detriment of the original.
The answer-lets all learn English.

Hello knightdriver007, welcome to the forum.
I don´t know about any comunity like you are talking about either, I´m sorry.
I hope you enjoy your stay here.

Regarding the discussion about the language, I always translate into english what I write in spanish. I think it´s normal to do it because I understand there are far more people that speak english that those who speak spanish, so that´s the way most members can understand what I write. For me this is very clear.
However, for me, like a lot of non english speakers all over the world, the belief of some english speakers that english is the universal language is annoying.
It´s one thing that it´s easy to find people that understand and speak english everywhere and quite another that everybody everywhere must speak english.
Even though some people might not believe it, mandarin chinese is the most spoken language on earth.
This has nothing to do with the forum but I had to say it.

Distorted?
It all will depend on every member´s skills to comunicate in english.
If a member´s skills aren´t good enough to translate something accurately, he won´t be able to say what he wants accurately either, so what´s the diference then?

English is not the great universal language.
We are speaking in english because it is an easy language (spanish is hard to learn).
English is the commercial language.

Re: Españoles?/Spanish members?

The fault is not yours but us english-over the years -all over the world-we arrived at a place-if the local population did not learn english-hard luck-we would not bother to learn the local tongue.
It still applies today-we do not appear interested to learn other languages.
If you dont learn english- then hard luck.
I suppose it all comes from the romans. Sorry!!

I don´t really think the History of Ancient Rome quite explain why you wouldn´t let members to communicate in their own language as long as they allow you and the rest of members to understand what it´s said by tranlating it into english.
I´m not trying to provoke  any controversy, it´s just that I don´t get it.

Don't worry donadoni. mastadon has his opinion and everyone is free to have an own opinion. His view doesn't change anything about what I said earlier.

Re: Españoles?/Spanish members?

Hi Louie.
Yes, I knew a singel member´s opinion wouldn´t change the gruop attitude about this issue. In fact, this discussion had more to do with prejudices in general.
The gruop has allowed members to use their own languages combining it with english from the very beginning. This way we have been able to interact perfectly well with everybody, so there is no reason at all to change this in my opinion.
I didn´t want to be controversial at all, it´s just that I get really annoyed by those people (fortunately very few people here, unfortunately not so few people in the world in general) that don´t think other cultures deserve as much respect as theirs.

Re: Españoles?/Spanish members?

Hi All, I dont want to be controversial-all I am doing-I suppose is winding people up-just to see how far they will go.
As far as I am concerned-people can discuss whatever they like-in what ever language they feel like-if they really wont to understand the various texts-they can use a universal translator or ask some who speaks the language to translate into whatever language they understand.
Try not to take things so seriously-they all will come out in the wash.
Happy new year.

Re: Españoles?/Spanish members?

Although everyone is free to express his views discrimination in whatever direction can not be tolerated. Donadoni, you can be assured that none of the admins of this group would tolerate it in this community. We will let a discussion run as long as it begins to become nasty. That's the reason we won't interfere immediately in disputs and arguments between members. In many cases they should be and are able to overcome differences, after all we are all adults. This discussion is a good example. Donadoni, your view is common sense in here and you knew it. Mastadon told us, he likes to see how far people go by winding them up. Which tells me he isn't an opponent really.
And yes, we shouldn't take everything too seriously.
In other words, donadoni, mastadon, thanks for your last comments, I understand that this dispute is solved and no one was hurt.

Back to shoulder riding (Sam expexts me to say that...wink )

Patocometa, Gunde me pide que te pregunte si podrias usar http://babelfish.yahoo.com/ (New Window)

Saludos Patocometa.

Since it´s a bit long what I wrote I include a translation:

Patocometa; Gunde says if I can ask you to use http://babelfish.yahoo.com/ (New Window)
Writing in any language is totally allowed in this forum but, in orther that everybody can know more or less what it´s said, people is asked to provide a translation into english.
Of course nobody is compelled to know english that´s why a translation through babelfish or a similiar site is enough. These translations are far from accurate but, at least, they allow non spanish speakers to know what you are talking about.
Since you said that you don´t speak any english I want you to know I have supported everybody´s right to speak their languages but, I think that it´s good if all can understand what is said, that way we can interact with everybody and no groups are created based on language.
All in all, feel free to write in spanish but, please, give a translation through babelfish if you can; and if you have any trouble to say something, don´t hesitate to ask for help to those that manage in english, if we can help you we´ll be happy to do it.

Regards Patocometa.

And regards to everybody as well.

do you mount on all types of women or just on fat women?
From my point of view no always is possible to get a good performance therefore I would like to select them before to mount.

I would like to swich information with you.

Hola shoulderrider, yo he montado en unas 20 mujeres pero no me he grabado montando.
