Re: wow

My Japanese is only good enough to ask my way around Japan. There are parts 1 through 6 and part 15 uploaded by"DaisukeYamaoka." They are parts of a movie.  This video apparently fascinates because if was not drama it would make  no sense.

For example, at first the then shoulder carrier failed to assist the the  ridress. Then the  then former carrier went after the man who first attacked while the then former ridress tried to pull the then former carrier away. During this struggle all other people passing by did and said nothing.  I, as a passer-by, would tell this aggressive man to leave or the police would be called on him. If he threatened me I would yell out a request that the police be called, yell out what he was doing, and this man's description even if he attacked me and I was then fighting him.

Yes, I know that this was videod in a shopping mall, people walking by saw the camera and understood that this was drama, and kept on walking.

But, as you see, in the end the three main characters  played ring-around-the-rosie and laughed.

My guess is that this video was supposed to make no sense, tease our minds, make us curious, and have us watch the other parts. Doing the strange and odd to capture attention is a common tactic in television advertisement in Japan.

I can ask my wife to translate but can promise you all nothing. At minimum that will not happen for a few days if at all.

Re: wow

Great find! It's amazing that this has been around for 3 years and we never knew about it until now! I wish I understood Japanese, because it looks hilarious!

Re: wow

I will not show this time my wife.y Not anytime soon at least. It is just better that way and you will have to live with this explanation. Essentially, I am loyal to my wife and would treat Hong and other young ladies like daughters, not lovers or potential lovers or potential sex partners, but still indulge them like beloved princesses as I believe daughters should be. Unfortunately nobody but I seems to know this for certain.

As you know, Hong, I would have loved to have had you as a daughter and to have been your occasional horse and I believe you have a good idea how I would have expected you to behave in return. If anything was unclear, or course I would clarify as gently as possible most of the time for I am not perfect either of course. We probably would have practiced Brazilian Jiujutsu, Aikido, and Den Mak too as I believe all princesses should have tribute born to them and one way is to teach them how to defend themselves. In my mind every daughter is rightfully a princess to be treated as such and all gals are daughters regardless of the kind of parents they had.

Regarding translations of this video, I communicated with the uploader in the comments section in his language to see what he will tell me. Yes, Japanese can be written with Roman letters also, known as "Romaji"  just as Mandarin can also be written with Roman letters, known as "Pinyin," as some of our members already know.
