Ultimate shoulder rides

I am posting the drawing of a scene from the 5th Voyage of Sindbad the Sailor—a story from the Arabian Nights, written probably not later than 1400 A.D.: Sindbad has fallen victim to a wicked old man, who uses him as a horse. In the drawing, this episode is about to come to an end: Sindbad has conned his captor into drinking wine, the man is getting intoxicated, and —after days!— Sindbad will soon be able to unseat him.
