Re: Random shoulder ride #2

did he ask you, or did you offer to lift him?

our members sometimes ask the best way to approach random people at concerts, which is why I asked

Good for you,Ridecarry, but its usually women on men that I see at concerts.I would certainly be far too shy to ask a random person if they wanted a ride-unless they were shorter than myself,of course!

Re: Random shoulder ride #2

He asked me if it would be ok to sit on my shoulders for a few mins and of course I said  sure . He was enjoying his view  of the show  and afterwards he thanked me .No idea why he approached me out of all the people there . i seen a few more  guys giving their buddys shoulder rides there later that night as well

Re: Random shoulder ride #2

The usual thing is for carriers to take a friend or partner (who are mostly females riders) so that they can enjoy the music and themselves by indulging in some public shoulder-riding in an acceptable venue.

Re: Random shoulder ride #2

It's an odd fact but some people seem to have an inborn instinct about identifying and therefore asking particular people whether they will give them a shoulder ride. Nine times out of ten they can correctly identify a would-be pony or rider.
