males how many female ponies have you had! please try to give names, ages, and general location and a maybe a little about at least one of your rides!!!

The only female pony I have ever had the privilege of riding was my cousin, though I rode her on more than one occasion. (I posted the full story of my first ride on her). I was 15 at the time while she was 17. Not too sure about weights I'm afraid, but it must have lasted a good 10 mins or so... that was the experience which for me really brought me into shoulder riding.

Dafydd, do I remember that you posted a story about that experience? I remember reading something like that, a very nice, long story but I can no longer see it here. I should have posted a reply back them.

Does shoulder-riding as a child count? When I was between the ages of 6 and 9 I used to get lots of girls, whom I guess where aged around 12-14, giving me shoulder-rides. What used to happen is that these girls would take a group of younger children (of which I was one) out in the local parks (near Richmond on Thames, London) and for some strange reason they'd frequently insist that I stood on a park bench and climb onto their shoulders. The girl who was giving me a shoulder-ride would carry me for maybe 10-15 minutes. I don't know why I got picked so often. Did I have a cute face maybe? Perhaps I looked s*e*x*y? Whatever the reason, these girls simply loved giving a shoulder-ride to a young boy. So my total of rides on females' shoulders would be about 15+ at least. Maybe that's why I like shoulder-riding now?

Yeah, I am lucky. Nowadays (and for the last year and a quarter) I have a very willing and able male pony that I ride regularly.
