Can I ask the more experienced shoulder-riders and carriers on this site for an authoritative reply to the question: Can shoulder-sitting be classified as shoulder-riding? The reason for asking this question is that during this period of very cold weather (it's about 1 degree here in southern England today 04 February 2012), some carriers might not want to go out in the cold and carry guys on their shoulders. Instead, they might prefer to sit indoors on, say, their settees or chairs, and have a rider clamber up behind them and settle himself astride their shoulders for what would be, effectively, a stationary ride.
Sat in this position, the rider could enjoy a ride on the sitter's shoulders more or less the same as if the sitter was walking along and carrying him on his shoulders. For the rider, the enjoyment would come from humping the sitter's shoulders and by just sat there astride the sitter's shoulders with his crotch pressed up to the back of the sitter's neck with maybe his legs dangling down on either side of the sitter's head. Sat like this, most riders are likely to find the experience stimulating as tingling pulses of excitment ripples through his groin and down into his thighs and also up into his belly. What better way to warm yourself up on a cold day! A dash of added excitment is the fact that the sitter is held captive like that by the rider who is, of course, sat firmly astride his shoulders and in charge of him. Poor sitter!
A variation can be made by doing a reverse shoulder-sit on the sitter if the back of the settee or chair is low enough. To do this all the rider needs to do is clamber up and stand or position himself in front of the sitter who is sat on the settee or chair (obviously, a settee is easier to use). Then all the rider has to do is hook one of his leg over the front of one of the sitter's shoulder and do the same with his other leg. Once he's done this he should be sat neatly astride the sitter's shoulders in the reverse position meaning that the sitter's face is pressed in the rider's crotch. In this position too, the rider's legs should be dangling over the back of the settee or chair. The rider can now start to shoulder-sit the sitter in an extremely explicit and dominant way. I should add that a sitter who is sat on in this way is totally at the mercy of the shoulder-sitter/rider and would have to endure the shoulder-sitting for as long as the rider wanted to sit on him/ride him. Poor sitter!
