This performance is really exciting. Dance is my favourite performing art - I love it! I am very familiar with Pilobolus and I just can't get enough of their work. This work has a very innovative and creative use of nudity in that it contrasts so sharply with the victorian rigidity reflected in the costuming. I would love to have been one of the guys that got to carry the ladies and I sure it was a lot of fun to do. I'm sure the ladies did not exactly mind carried aloft. It has to be one of my favourite dance pieces and does anybody know if it is available on DVD?

Pilobolus leaves me speechless !!! It's a unique blend of graceful choregraphy and stunning muscular performance, but also a poetic <and kinky> sublimation of the Female gender !!! I can't help envying those males spending so many hours under these elegant long dresses ......

If you ever get a chance to see Pilobolus's "Day Two" I think you will find it a special treat. Men and women in thongs and nothing else, with the women riding the men's shoulders, fully mounted, in two sequences during the dance, if I remember correctly. VERY exciting to watch! I wish there were a video clip of it.

From what I know this long skirt dance is called 'tall ladies' and is included in a part called 'untitled'. I have one question - Pilobolus has many nude dances. Even in this dance the men that come out from under the women's dresses are naked. So does that mean that the women are also naked, underneath the dresses? Now wouldn't that be just awesome!

Thank you, Nick. For some reason the video clip won't play on my Windows 7 computer. When I saw "Day Two" live, what I remember is a couple of reasonably long sequences with the women riding the back of their partners' necks with their legs wrapped around in perfect form. I'd love to have a video clip of that one.

Pilobolus uses shoulder riding in other dances. I think "Monkshood Farewell" may be one of them, if I'm not confusing it with a different dance.
