Does anyone still give their kids shoulder rides as they get older? It seems once people’s kids reach a certain age the only rides they get are from people their age. Anyway I still give my son Kyle who is 18 shoulder rides at concerts . Before concerts came to an end for coronavirus we were at A Day To Remember and had him on my shoulders for a few songs . Does anyone else still carry their kids as they have grown ?
My experience is only slightly related but my younger sister who would always give me rides on her shoulders in our youth still does so on occasion when we meet up for family gatherings and such. Even now that we're in our 20's and shoulder rides are considered to be 'childish' we still both enjoy it as a
kind of ritual display of our love for each other as siblings.
From my experience not many parents give their kids a shoulder ride when they turn older. Most of them probably also would not be strong enough when their sons turn 18 or older. Therefore their friends more often give them shoulder rides, I guess.
By the way, how much does Kyle weigh?
