Well my friend,  me and my friend Jessica use to walk down the bike trail in our town a lot, and most of the time she would say "shoulders!" If she wanted a ride, I would always carry her down the trail, through the woods etc on my shoulders. This was a thing until she moved to Kentucky. I still visit her and still give her shoulder rides from time to time.
Now another rider I have is my friend Kristi who I often hang out with and go on adventures with. We usually go to the local library which is a good distrance from her place. A ways there there is a wall that I usually jump down, it comes up to 5 feet, perfect height for her to sit down on and scoot herself onto my shoulders which is exactly what she does whenever she gets tired or I offer her one. Other times we go to a spot in the woods that has a perfect view of the river that runs through our town, thing is the ground is usually dirty so i'll let her sit on my shoulders while I sit on the forest floor like your girlfriend does when you guys watch movies.
either way we have lots of fun :3
