Ultimate shoulder rides

There seem to be two distinct ways to ride around on someone's shoulders. The first way is to simply sit on someone's shoulders and be carried around by the pony. This is what many females do. In other words, they don't actually 'ride' the human pony. Riders like this, who just sit on someone's shoulders and are carried around by the pony, are what might be called 'passive' riders.

The other kind of shoulder rider is the 'active' or 'dominant' rider. When this kind of shoulder rider rides around on the pony's shoulders, he or she takes control of the human pony and gets the pony to do what he or she wants.

This latter type of rider, who could be described as an 'active' or 'dominant' rider, will, once he or she has mounted the pony's shoulders, control the pony both physically and psychologically. This type of rider will make the pony walk as fast or for as long as the rider wants the pony to walk. This type of rider will ride the pony just like a real pony which means that the pony is fully under the control and direction of the rider and fully subject to the will and demands of the rider. Effectively, the human pony is no longer treated as a human but, instead, is treated by the rider as though he or she is a dumb animal.

So what kind of 'jockey' do human ponies prefer? Do they like to just carry someone on their shoulders and maybe enjoy the sensation of the rider's weight or maybe just enjoy the fact that they have a female sat astride their shoulders?

Or do human ponies prefer the thrill and excitement of a shoulder rider actually riding them as though they are a real pony or horse?

If you're a person who prefers carrying someone on your shoulders, what would you do (or what did you do) if you lifted someone onto your shoulders and they then took you over and started to ride you as though you were a real pony or horse? Would you (or did you) go along with what the rider wanted you to do? Would you (did you) carry the rider until you felt like dropping down with exhaustion? What would you do (or what did you do) if the rider dug their heels into you ribs and ordered you to walk faster or for longer? Would you (did you) comply with the rider's orders? Would you (did you) comply if the rider ordered you to simply stand still for a long time just so the rider could find out how long you could carry their weight or maybe ordered you to repeatedly lift the rider up and down on the back of your neck until you were exhausted?

Would members of this forum who are ponies like to give their views and opinions about what kind of riders they prefer to ride them, and whether they prefer a passive or dominant rider? And maybe members who like to be riders might also like to give their views and opinions about the way they prefer to ride a human pony, whether they just like to sit passively on a pony's shoulders and be carried around or whether they like to ride a pony dominantly and take full control of the pony and even, maybe, ride the pony 'into the ground?'
