Hi everyone,
This last Sunday I had another wonderful adventure with Sally. As you know from my previous story on the subject, I would help Sally with pruning her bushes and trees in her big yard. She would sit on my shoulders and prune the wide variety of plants including her climbing roses that were too high for her to reach from the ground. She would ride on my shoulders for quite a long time because there was lots to prune. As exhausted as I would get, I refused to put her down unless she told me to.
Well, this last Sunday, I got a text message from Sally asking if I had any pruning to do in my yard. I was pleasantly surprised because in my opinion, why else would she want to do work in my yard if it wasn't for the appeal of riding on my shoulders. I told her I had lots of pruning to do and she said, "Great, I'll be right over."
She showed up at my place wearing short shorts, bare legs, flip flops and a tank top. She looked terrific. I offered her a margarita first because it was a hot day and we relaxed on the deck for awhile. Then she mounted up and we started pruning. She rode me for a good thirty minutes or more and I have to admit I was tired when it was done. When we were finished, she asked me to put her down and we stood and looked over the yard to make sure we didn't miss anything. Then to my surprise, she told me to pick her up and give her a few more laps around the yard before going back on the deck for another margarita. I was only too happy to oblige. Fortunately that little break we just had was all I needed and I was delighted to pick her up and carry her for several laps before climbing the stairs with her on my shoulders to the deck.
To me it is very clear that Sally loves riding on my shoulders and even though I can't be in a relationship with her, I treasure this wonderful set of circumstances that allows me to carry her quite often. I'm one lucky guy.

Yeah, you are very lucky to have this type of friendship, and with someone so local too. I am green with envy!
