My first Poll is about the duration of a shoulder ride
My longest ever shoulder ride took place when i was in college. I carried my girlfriend on my shoulders for about an hour and fourty minutes, advancing about six kilometers on a country road. I am looking forward to hear your longest enduring experiences.

My longest walk with a girl on my shoulders was a walk along the beach from one village to another. It was about three kilometres and it took me almost an hour, but I kept on walking, because I enjoyed it so much. I carried my future wife at that time, although I didn't know it at that moment, because I just knew her for three weeks. Although a little embarassed at the beginning, she sat perfectly on my shoulders, her feet clunched behind my back. At times she would ask me if I wasn't too tired, but she did not protest and afterwards she said she enjoyed it too. Later on when we went to the beach, I always took her on my shoulders, but never again that long.

Difficult to chose, which alternative to click on. I finally chose the "over 2 hours" since I once held my gf on my shoulders for an entire U2 concert. She was only 150cm/42kg and I played handball at a national level at that time, so I was in great shape (184cm/93kg).
The longest ride I have received was also at a concert. I sat on a male friends (198cm/116kg) shoulders for about an hour. The man had recently spent 3 years in the Russian special forces (= Navy Seals) and he was all muscle. I would have prefared to ride a girl, but you take what you can get.
